The commercial stores will be open on Sunday, January 16, throughout the territory, with suggested opening hours by the commercial associations, 11 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon.
Shopping malls, department stores and supermarkets throughout Greece, depending on the policy of each company, according to an announcement by the Association of Businesses and Retail Sales of Greece, will be open from 11:00 am. until 08:00 p.m.
It is reminded that the stores, optionally, can operate tomorrow as part of the winter discounts that have already started and are expected to last until the end of February.
Regarding the remuneration of the staff on Sunday, the legislation stipulates that the employers are obliged to pay the respective hourly wages for the provided work with a surcharge of 75%.
