Marked as “new,” Antec’s catalog has expanded to the illustrated NX420 case. The 416 x 221 x 463mm case topped the entry-level NX series. Its front panel is made in the form of a lattice, divided into several segments with different orientations of the ribs. The side panel is made of tempered glass.
The chassis is compatible with mini-ITX, microATX and ATX motherboards. It accommodates expansion cards up to 330 mm long. The maximum allowable height for a processor cooling system is 175 mm. The PSU can be up to 185mm long or up to 355mm long if you do not install drives in the bottom bay.
The chassis has four 2.5 “drive bays and two 3.5” drive bays that can also be used for 2.5 “drives.
In terms of cooling, up to six 120mm fans or up to five 140mm fans can be installed. One addressable backlit fan is factory installed. In configurations with LSS, a radiator up to 360 mm long is placed on the front panel, up to 240 mm on top, and 120 mm on the back.
The I / O panel contains connectors for two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, reset buttons, power and backlight control, as well as connectors for a microphone and headphones.
