“The Simpsons” and “Family of the Heavy” are renewed by Fox, says website

After months of negotiation with Disney, “The Simpsons” and “A Family of the Heavy” They were renewed by Fox for four more seasons each. The information is from Deadline.

According to Deadline, the series will have 15 episodes per season – unlike the 22 usual episodes of the works. With the renewal, “The Simpsons” will reach season 40, consolidating as the longest livestock in TV history.

“The longevity of this agreement reaffirms our commitment to the successful partnership we built with the amazing Disney team,” said Rob Wade, Fox Entertainment CEO. “This collaboration has generated and will continue to generate significant long -term value and strategically build Fox audiences and fans around the world.”

In Brazil, “The Simpsons”, a series known for “predicting” historical events, “a heavy family”, “Bob’s Burgers” and “American Dad” are shown on Disney+.
