The singer and actress Irene Cara has died

“It is with deep sadness that on behalf of your family I announce the passing of Irene Cara. Irene’s family has asked for privacy as they process their grief. She was a wonderfully gifted soul whose legacy will live forever through her music and her films.’ Thus agent Judith A. Moose announced the disappearance of the American singer and actress Irene Dearbest known for huge hit songs like “Hunger”awarded with the Oscar in 1981 and «Flashdance… What a feeling», with music by Giorgio Moroder, also awarded with an Oscar three years later, in 1984: Irene Cara was the first Hispanic singer to receive him as an author. The actress died at her Florida home, but her cause of death has not been disclosed at this time.
