The single platform for European citizens-businesses that want to do business in Greece is in operation

The Ministry of Digital Governance announced that the Greek Single Service Portal – EUGO (eugo.gov.gr) has been in production since Friday. The EUGO portal is the central point of contact for European citizens and businesses wishing to provide their services in Greece either through a physical establishment or cross-border.

From the Greek Single Service Portal, interested parties can easily and quickly, through the e-mail address eugo.gov.gr, access all the information they need to do business in our country. In particular, they will be able to be informed about:

the relevant procedures,
the competent bodies,
the cost of handling the process,
the relevant existing legislation and
the European Directive 2006/123/EC on services in the internal market.

On the EUGO portal, all information is posted in Greek and English and will be constantly updated through its connection with the Information System of the “National Register of Proceedings – Mitos”. In addition, those interested will be able to submit their request for services electronically.

It is worth noting that the new EUGO portal interoperates with the “Notify Business” Information System of the General Secretariat of Industry of the Ministry of Development and Investments, which includes and serves procedures related to notifications of the start of operations and the exercise of activities. The Greek Single Service Portal will be constantly upgraded and in the near future will provide the possibility of fully electronic submission of applications and their routing, for all procedures that fall within the scope of the European Directive regarding services in the internal market.

EUGO was designed and implemented by the General Secretariat for Digital Governance and Process Simplification, within the framework of the Interoperable Europe program of the European Commission, in collaboration with the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET).
