The undocking of the SpaceX Crew Dragon Endurance with four astronauts on board – Raja Chari, Thomas Marshburn, Kayla Barron and Matthias Maurer – occurred automatically at 01:20 US East Coast time (08:20 Moscow time). The crew had moved inside the vehicle two hours earlier. The landing of the device off the coast of Florida is scheduled for 00:43 local time (07:43 Moscow time) on May 6.

The ship’s department completed the Crew-3 crew’s semi-annual watch at the station, where they arrived on November 11 last year. They were replaced on April 28 by NASA astronauts Chell Lindgren, Robert Hynes and Jessica Watkins, as well as Samantha Cristoforetti, a representative of the European Space Agency, on the SpaceX Crew Dragon Freedom ship. This is the fourth rotation of the ISS crew from the American side as part of the program for delivering astronauts to the station with the help of SpaceX. They also have to spend six months aboard the International Space Station.

In addition, the Russians Oleg Artemiev, Denis Matveev and Sergei Korsakov are currently on duty on the ISS. On Wednesday, Marshburn handed over command of the ISS to Artemiev, handing him a symbolic key to the station.
