The Starlink 2-1 mission proved to be a success. Elon Musk’s satellite Internet grouping has been replenished with 51 satellites

The Starlink 2-1 mission, in which SpaceX was to deliver 51 specification 1.5 Starlink satellites, was a success. At the same time, for the Falcon 9 B1049-10 rocket, this is already the tenth successful launch, and the same successful return. She lifted off from the Space Force base in Vandenberg, California, and landed on a floating platform drone ASDA (Of course I still love) in the Pacific Ocean. Thus, there are now 1,791 satellites in the Starlink constellation – taking into account the two prototypes from which the development of the project began.

It is not yet clear what the Starlink 1.5 specification is. Earlier it was reported that the company is going to launch new versions of satellites with a laser data exchange channel. This will significantly speed up the transfer of information, increase the coverage area and allow SpaceX to abandon at least some of the ground stations. And those satellites that have already been launched will undergo a number of updates.
