Former US President Donald Trump was looking to strengthen himself with the midterm elections held in November, but the results were not as good as he had hoped. Even so, Trump decided to announce, on the last 15th, that he intends to run again for the White House in 2024.
Despite the expectation of a Republican wave, American voters confirmed the advantage of Trump’s party in the House in the elections of November 8, but by a margin of difference smaller than expected. The Democratic Party, of the country’s current president, Joe Biden, maintained control in the Senate.
