Japan’s Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga announced on Tuesday that they have decided extend the state of emergency to 10 prefectures until March 7, as reported by Reuters.
It was stated that the state of emergency was not extended to Tochigi and that it could get up early in prefectures where the situation is improving.
Suga claimed that they will be given financial support to hospitals that care for coronavirus patients. Regarding the vaccination, he indicated that they plan to start them in mid-February.
He announced an expansion of loans for people in need due to the coronavirus crisis.
