Indecent, sexist, uneducative. These are some of the adjectives used by the inhabitants of Palm Springs, California to describe a giant statue of Marilyn Monroe which will be positioned in front of a local museum. They obviously don’t want it, even though she’s already been to the city.
The statue, over eight meters high, is called Forever Marilyn and is back in the town in the Coachella Valley after passing through various other locations. Here she had been between 2012 and 2014.
