According to a BBC report, the woman who had disappeared almost 63 years ago was found alive and in good health after a review of the case by the Wisconsin state authorities in the US. Audrey Bakeberg was 20 years old when she disappeared from her home in the city of Rinsberg on July 7, 1962. In a statement, Shock County Sheriff, Chip Maister, said Mrs Bakeberg’s disappearance was “the result of her own decision”.
