The strategic defense relationship between Greece and Israel at the center of the meeting between N. Panagiotopoulos and B. Gantz

The importance of the strategic defense relationship between Greece and Israel was highlighted during the meeting held today, Tuesday, July 5, by the Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos with the Minister of Defense of Israel Benjamin Gantz on the sidelines of the Economist conference in Lagonisi.

At the meeting, satisfaction was also expressed for the excellent level of cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries and cooperation in the field of defense industry with important equipment programs.

As announced, during the talks it was emphasized that the tripartite cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Israel in the defense sector contributes to the promotion of stability in the wider region of the Eastern Mediterranean and the creation of a climate of peace and cooperation, as well as the importance of the 3+1 cooperation scheme with the USA.
