The Substance: preview clip of the new thriller with Demi Moore on the obsession with staying young

Have you ever dreamed of a better version of yourself? This is the question being asked The Substancethe film written and directed by Coralie Fargeat which, after having won the award for best screenplay at the last Cannes Film Festival, is finally ready to arrive in our cinemas starting from October 30th. The film, of which we present a preview clip above, takes us into the world of Elizabeth Sparklea former Hollywood star who, at the age of 50sees his career now at the end of the line. How much is she willing, however, to put herself on the line so as not to be put aside and forgotten forever?

The solution to satisfy one’s ambitions, obsessively pursuing the ideal of youth and perfection imposed by the dominant aesthetics, seems within reach and bears the name of The Substance, a revolutionary product capable of generating a younger and more beautiful version of us as long as we respect just one rule: you have to divide your time. The film will be in cinemas with previews from October 25th and in theaters from October 30th with I Wonder Pictures.
