The subversive discovery of “underwater Stonehenge” in Lake Michigan rewrites human history

A mysterious construction, similar to Stonehenge, located beneath the waters of Lake Michigan, reveals new elements that could enhance our knowledge of early human history in North America. The location, discovered in 2007, dates back 9,000 years ago and is about 12 meters below the surface of the Grand Traverse Bay. The point includes large stones mounted on a line that ends in a hexagon, near a rock that had been considered a carved animal for years.
