The Syrian Air Force used chemical weapons

A team of researchers from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has concluded, after a relevant investigation, that units of the Air Force Syria “They used chemical weapons in Sarakeb on February 4, 2018.”

The Agency’s identification and research team concluded that there is reasonable evidence to suggest that “A military helicopter of the Syrian Air Force” hit eastern Sarakeb, “Throwing at least one cylinder of gas”.

“The cylinder broke and released a large amount of chlorine, affecting 12 people”, is clarified in the report, as conveyed by ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ.

Despite strong objections from Syria and its allies, especially Moscow, a majority of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons member states authorized in 2018 the Organization to identify its perpetrators chemical attack and not just to collect data on the use of such weapons.

The Damascus regime denies “any involvement” in chemical weapons attacks and “confirms” that it has handed over all its stockpiles of chemical weapons under international supervision under an agreement reached in 2013.
