The tension in eastern Ukraine is stained with blood

Pro-Russian separatists today accused Ukrainian forces of killing five rebel fighters, while Kiev said one of its soldiers had been killed in a bomb blast just days before a summit between the presidents of Russia and the United States.

The authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic of Lugansk (LNR) claim that “a group of (Ukrainian) saboteursPenetrated the separatists’ territory and “barbarically” killed five fighters with a bullet in the head.

The presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, are scheduled to meet in Geneva on June 16, and Ukraine is among the topics to be discussed.
