Yesterday, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphone was presented, which became the world’s first device equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G SoC. This platform is manufactured using a 5nm manufacturing process and has an Adreno 642 GPU.
The company has stated that the Mi 11 Lite is the lightest and thinnest Mi phone ever, with dimensions of 60.53mm x 75.72mm x 6.81mm and weighing just 159 grams. It is also the thinnest 5th generation smartphone.

One important point that was not mentioned in the press conference is that the Mi 11 Youth Edition supports microSD cards. At the bottom of the smartphone is a hybrid slot for two Nano SIM cards or one SIM card with a MicroSD memory card with a maximum capacity of up to 1 TB. None of the other Mi 11 series smartphones support microSD cards. In addition, this mobile phone has received an NFC module and an infrared remote control.
The smartphone has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The main camera houses a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle model and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The battery capacity is 4250 mAh, the smartphone supports 33 W fast charging.
Sales of the device will start on April 2.
