The developers of the Ton Space cryptocurrency wallet reported that its users can pay network commissions in Telegram Stars. As the developers noted, the new function will make work with digital assets for the audience even simpler and more convenient. In addition, users will be able to buy virtual goods in mini-applications of the messenger.
According to Andrei Rogozov, Director General of The Open Platform (Ton), the use of Telegram Stars to pay for the blockchain network commissions will contribute to its wider distribution in the market. He noted that a new function will help attract even more customers to the ecosystem.
The payment mechanism will be integrated by analogy with the Battle function in the Tonkeeper cryptocurler. As you know, he automatically covers the network commissions as necessary.
It is worth recalling that at the end of 2024 the Ton Space wallet, related to the class of non-kastodial, completed the stage of beta tests, and the number of accounts in it overcame the mark of 100 million.
Also, in the summer of last year, the creators of Ton and Tonkeeper presented the function of supporting non -gas transfers in the new standard of the W5 Smart Wallet cryptocurrency.
