The farewell of hospital workers in Britain to a colleague who died of coronavirus a few days before doing so vaccine.
Krzysztof Gogolewski, 63, worked at Poole Hospital in Norset for 12 years and became ill with coronavirus the same week he received an email informing him of his vaccination, according to the Daily Mail.
His condition worsened and he was admitted to the hospital where he worked. Unfortunately, he passed away on February 16.
Doctors, nurses and other workers were found outside the hospital as the body of the unfortunate man was being taken for cremation. With them, another 500 people and all together applauded the employee of the British national health system who fought against Covid-19.
Gogolewski was married for 36 years to his wife and had a daughter, two sons and four grandchildren.
Marta’s 35-year-old daughter said: “We were expecting maybe 10 people outside the hospital, so it was amazing and beautiful to see so many people for him. It also meant a lot to my mother who cried when she saw them all. It meant so much to us. “
