The corresponding value without petroleum products increased by 4,434.3 million euros, ie 30.7% and the corresponding value without petroleum products and ships increased by 4,411.0 million euros, ie 30.7%, compared to the period January-April 2021.
The total value of exports – shipments during the period January-April 2022 amounted to 15,723.8 million euros ($ 17,516.3 million) compared to 11,979.9 million euros ($ 14,443.6 million) in same period of 2021, showing an increase of 31.3% in euros. The corresponding value without petroleum products increased by 1,920.1 million euros, ie 21.2% and the corresponding value without petroleum products and ships increased by 1,910.9 million euros, ie 21.1%, compared to the period January-April 2021.
The trade deficit during the period January-April 2022 amounted to EUR 11,301.1 million ($ 12,444.4 million) compared to € 6,583.9 million ($ 7,798.1 million) in the same period of 2021, showing an increase, in euros, 71.6%.
