Directed by Oscar winner George Miller. Three Thousand Years of Longing is the filmmaker’s first film since the box office success Mad Max: Fury Road. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and, finally, the first preview of Miller’s new fantasy and adventure bet has arrived.
Starring the star of The Chronicles of Narnia, Tilda Swinton, Three Thousand Years of Longing will tell the story of a genie awakened after the discovery of an ancient bottle by Alithea Binnie, a sad and lonely Englishwoman, during a visit to an antique bazaar in Istanbul.

In the stories, imagination and reality, the past and the present, are mixed, causing the exchange to have unexpected consequences for both.
Elba and Swinton’s talent is joined by Sarah Houbolt, Kaan Güldür and Alyla Browne. The soundtrack is in charge of Tom Holkenborg, who made us vibrate in Mad Max.
