The trans dad who breastfeeds his baby, the harsh comments and his response

A transsexual Daddy defends the way he chooses to raise his child, while receiving harsh comments online for breastfeeding him. Tanius Posey was born female and has been in the process of gender transitioning for six years. When at the end of 2021 she went to the hospital because she was not feeling well, she learned that she is pregnant.

As the 31-year-old told Truly, he “definitely wasn’t expecting the pregnancy” and had to stop testosterone suddenly, which he described as “hell”.

Another thought that worried him was people’s reactions to him breastfeeding of his son, Za’nius, who is now one year old.

Other members of trans members of the community have told him that he’s “not trans enough because he’s carrying a child” or that “you’re making the rest of us look bad.”

“I get a lot of attacks. But I think if I keep sharing, maybe I can help the next person,” he noted.

The hate he receives doesn’t stop him from sharing his journey as a transgender parent, saying his response is, “you’ve got to stop living under a rock. You have to open your eyes and realize that there isn’t just one way to live.”
