A British traveler comes under fire as he pretended to be injured to avoid waiting more than two queues in airport in Turkey. “I pretended to kick my foot to get faster and get on the plane,” wrote Wolf Jenkins, known as @wolfjenko on TikTok, with the video garnering a million views.
As he said, he thought of pretending to be injured because “the queue was all the way out the door and we knew we would miss our flight” from Bodrum to his hometown of Bristol.
“I saw people in trolleys to push them and go forward so my friend was waiting in line while I went out and took off my shoe and sock. Then I stumbled on the door and a staff member asked me if I needed help. “He said that I had twisted my ankle in the hotel before I got into the taxi,” he described to Deadline.
And he seems to have achieved his goal. “They hurriedly took me to check-in”, he describes, and even when they got on the plane, while the seats with his friend were in different places, they finally gave them “a whole series of six seats”.
Many found his trick unconscious. “It’s really not funny. “There are some who really need this,” someone wrote.
Jenkins replied that he had no bad intentions. “It was just a way to make sure we would not miss our flight,” he said.
