The exorcism and the unexpected murder

Ed and Lorraine Warren found a Catholic priest and arranged for it to happen exorcism on 11-year-old boy at St Joseph’s Church. “Suddenly the temperature in the church dropped and within minutes David’s behavior began to change,” Alan reports, adding that his brother began growling, becoming aggressive and “breaking his body abnormally.”

During the exorcism, the child allegedly got out of control and attacked his family, with the priest at that moment putting a cross on his forehead and screaming “come out demon, come out Satan”. The 11-year-old passed out and when he woke up he only remembered the prayers at the start of the procedure and not what followed, with his family thinking he was redeemed.

However, after five months namely on February 16, 1981tragedy struck, when o Johnson along with his three sisters and his fiancee dined with Alan Bono.

Metaphysical phenomenon or hoax?

THE Debbie Glatzel supported Arne Cheyenne Johnson and married him in prison -they stayed together until her death from lung cancer-, claiming that she was possessed by the demon that haunted her brother. The case received tremendous publicity in the US, while the defense used the term “demonic possession” for the first timewhere it was not accepted as unscientific.

Johnson was sentenced to prison and released a few years ago, still believing he was possessed by a demon, something both the now-adult David and his brother Alan claim.

But the third son of the Glatzel family, Carlconsiders that everything is fraud and manipulation of his son-in-law. According to him, ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren ‘drive his family crazy’ to exploit them financially.

The Warrens had an agenda and they knew what they were doing. After some time they wrote a book about the case and they put in terrifying details that never happenedso they can sell more”, he characteristically said, convinced that no demon possessed his brother, but also his son-in-law, even though they themselves still believe the exact opposite.
