The exercise “Blue Homeland 2025” that will be carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces in the Black Sea, Aegean and Mediterranean between January 7-16, has mobilized Athens which will monitor the military activity at the operational and diplomatic level. The exercise will be held after a three-year hiatus and will involve a total of 20,000 personnel, including 87 ships, 7 submarines, 7 unmanned sea vehicles, 31 aircraft, 17 helicopters and 28 UCAV/UAVs, as well as the elite SAT teams and SAS. The large-scale exercise aims to increase the readiness of the Turkish Armed Forces in maritime operations, increase efficiency and improve coordination.
