The entire United Kingdom has been plunged into mourning after her death Queen Elizabeth. Ten days of mourning have been underway across Britain since Friday, with citizens tearfully bidding farewell to their queen.
THE Queen Elizabeth passed away last Thursday 9/9 at the age of 96.
Every day thousands of people, Londoners as well as tourists go to Buckingham Palace to leave flowers, photos and paintings, thus paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth. The country was plunged into mourning. Banks and stock market closed and the country is now “paralyzed”. Flags are flying at half mast. It is worth noting that most parliamentary activities will be suspended for 10 days.
Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral will be held in London at 11am (local time) on Monday, September 19, Buckingham Palace has announced.
