The UAE and Russia agree that energy market stability must be maintained

Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and de facto leader of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin al-Nahyan, and Russian President Vladimir Putin have stressed the need to “maintain the stability” of the global energy market today. discussed the Ukrainian crisis and energy, according to the official Emirates news agency WAM.

The two men “stressed the importance of joint constructive work within international organizations, primarily the United Nations. They expressed the mutual desire to continue the thorough development of bilateral relations (and) a strategic partnership”.

A non-permanent member of the Security Council since January, the Emirates has been chairing the Security Council since today and throughout March.
