The Ukrainian secret services murdered a Ukrainian ex-MP in Russia

The secret services of Ukraine carried out a strike on Russia and murdered a Ukrainian ex Member of Parliament who constantly criticized his country while supporting Moscow’s actions.

THE Ilia Kiva it was one pro-Russian member of the Ukrainian parliament before the invasion of Moscow in February 2022but was in Russia throughout the war and frequently criticized the Ukrainian authorities online.

Russian investigators said Kiva died at the scene after was shot in a park in the Odintsovo regionsouthwest of Moscow, while the killer is wanted.

The Ukrainian source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the SBU security service was responsible for the murder.

THE Andriy Yusofa spokesman for Ukraine’s GUR, another intelligence agency, told Ukrainian television that Kiva was “finished,” but did not say who was behind his death.

Kiva had been sentenced in absentia by a Ukrainian court to 14 years in prison on charges that included treason and incitement to violence.

Another pro-Russian former member of the Ukrainian parliament, Oleg Chariov, survived an assassination attempt in Crimea in October.

Several Russian war supporters have been killed since the start of the war in operations that Moscow attributes to Ukraine, including journalist Daria Dugina, war blogger Vladlen Tatarski and former submarine commander Stanislav Rzytski.
