The flagship of the Ukrainian Navy, the frigate “Hetman Sagaidachnyi” was sunk by the Ukrainians in order to prevent its use by the enemy, according to the Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov.
According to the Minister, the commander of the frigate complied with the order to sink the ship, so that the frigate “Hetman Sagaidachny”, which was under repair, did not reach the enemy.
