The General Assembly of the United Nations Organization again on Tuesday 3/12 advocated the end of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and the establishment of a Palestinian state, convening for June 2025 an international meeting with the aim of promoting the two-state solution. In a resolution adopted by 157 votes to 8 (including those of the US, Israel and Hungary) and 7 abstentions, in the framework of the annual review of the Palestinian issue, the General Assembly “reaffirms its unwavering support, based on the international of law, in the solution that foresees that there will be two states, Israel and Palestine, that will coexist side by side, in peace and security, with recognized borders, on the basis of the pre-1967 borders”.
