The United States Department of Commerce has published a detailed list of luxury items that will be prohibited from being imported into Russia from March 16.

The list includes about 570 commodity items, including electric vehicles, motorcycles, precious stones and jewelry. Some items are listed below:
- alcohol (champagne, whiskey, bourbon, tequila, rum, etc.);
- tobacco products (cigars, pipe tobacco, snuff and chewing tobacco, etc.);
- cosmetics and perfumery (eau de toilette, makeup products, skin care products, etc.);
- handbags, suitcases, handbags;
- fur skins, natural fur products, silk, carpets;
- certain clothing and garments, certain footwear (sweaters, trousers, ski suits, swimwear, gloves, ties, etc., if the US wholesale price is over $1,000 per item);
- gems and jewelry;
- marine engines, snowmobiles, motorcycles, some passenger cars, including electric vehicles;
- concert grand pianos, wristwatches, art objects, collectibles.
The US clarified that the supply of goods from the list to Russia would require a license, which would generally be denied. Similar restrictions apply to Belarus.
