The government of USA condemned the new law in Russia, which carries a prison sentence of up to 15 years for dispersing what the Kremlin calls “fake news” about the Russian military, and called for continued efforts by all sections of Russian society to promote human rights and of fundamental freedoms.

This law practically criminalizes the publication of any information that tarnishes the image of the Russian army.
The Kremlin calls him war in Ukraine “Special military operation”; has prohibited the use of terms such as “attack” or “invasion”.
