The US Department of Finance Control (OFAC) has imposed sanctions against Cryptoadress related to AEZA Group, Russian supplier of hosting services.

The sanctions apply to AEZA International, which, based in the UK, which, according to OFAC, was used to rent IP addresses to cybercriminals. The sanctions were affected by two subsidiaries based in Russia: AEZA Logistic and Cloud Solutions, as well as four top managers, including General Directors Arseny Penzev and Yuri Bozoyan. Both general director were detained by Russian law enforcement officers for communication with the Blacksprut darknet platform.

OFAC claims that Aeza Group offered the services of protected hosting, which allowed the creators of the Mr. programs and operators of the Darknet-sites to bypass the control of law enforcement agencies and act with impunity.
