USA fly drones over the Gaza Strip searching for the hostages taken by the Palestinian group Hamas during its attack on Israel on October 7, two US officials said Thursday.
The two officials, who wished to remain anonymous, pointed out that the US flies drones over Gaza aiming to gather information and to assist in efforts to locate the hostages. One of them commented that these flights have been taking place for more than a week, as reported by APE-MPE.
US officials have said 10 missing Americans may be among more than 200 people held hostage by Hamas in Gaza and believed to be hiding in the group’s extensive network of tunnels.
