The US government announced on Monday the approval of sales to Israel for 3,845 bombs, along with relevant equipment and services, worth more than half a billion dollars, a few days after the clash with Iran. “The proposed sale will enhance Israel’s ability to face current and future threats by improving its ability to defend its borders, vital infrastructure and its population centers,” the US defense and security cooperation (DSCA) said. “The US has committed (to defend) Israel’s security and is vital for US national interests to help Israel develop and maintain strong and ready -made defense potential,” the document said.
