The US government announced yesterday that it will proceed with the suspension of 26 flights to China from the US.
The flights are being operated by four Chinese airlines, and it is Washington’s reaction to Beijing’s decision to suspend flights by some American companies due to COVID-19.
According to the American decision, some flights of Xiamen Airlines, Air China, China Southern Airlines and Eastern Airlines are suspended.
The suspension of flights starts from September 5th until September 28th.
The US Department of Transportation cited the recent suspension of flights by American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines, regarding cases of infection by COVID-19.
