The volume of liquidations in the crypto market exceeded $300 million after BTC fell below $35,000

On the night of November 15, the price of Bitcoin fell below $35,000. At the time of writing, the first cryptocurrency is trading around $35,600:

Against this background, the volume of liquidations in the futures market increased. Over the past 24 hours, this figure reached $304 million. In total, about 77,000 traders were liquidated. Most of the losses came from long positions.

Ethereum also failed to gain a foothold above $2,000; the asset is trading at around $1,980. It has lost almost 4% in value over the past 24 hours, according to Cryptorank.
