The Wacom touchscreen in the Cintiq Pro 16 is said to perform better than previous generations of devices. It recognizes simultaneous input with multiple fingers and a stylus. At the same time, it is possible to enable and disable the multitouch with a hardware switch located on the upper edge of the front panel. In addition, there are eight ExpressKeys for integrating modifiers and hot combinations into and into the workflow. They are located at the back on the sides (four on each side). According to Wacom, this arrangement improves ergonomics and tactile feedback, as the buttons are located in an area where most users’ hands naturally fit when working.

The Pro Pen 2 is included. It offers four times the precision and pressure sensitivity of the previous Pro Pen.

The screen resolution of the Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 is 3840 x 2160 pixels. The screen covers 98% of the Adobe RGB color space. The tablet can be connected to a Windows or macOS computer via USB-C or HDMI. It costs $ 1,500 and should be on sale by the end of the month.

Additionally, an adjustable stand, Pro Pen slim and Pro Pen 3D with three customizable buttons, a calibrator for color matching and an ExpressKey Remote are available to increase productivity by creating shortcuts to software applications using 17 customizable buttons and Touch Ring.
