The round table meeting is scheduled to take place in Washington in the first half of July. According to Congressman Roe Hahn, who represents one of the California districts, the event has the potential to become the most important event involving politicians and industry representatives in recent months.
Billionaire Mark Cuban, who was invited to the meeting, said that he had repeatedly asked the US presidential administration to change its tough stance on the cryptocurrency market. And now there is a chance, the businessman believes, to adjust Joe Biden’s attitude towards the virtual asset industry. Otherwise, some crypto investors, the entrepreneur suggests, may vote for Donald Trump in the November elections.
The former US President and candidate from the Republican Party also held a meeting with participants in the crypto market, asking the heads of American mining companies CleanSpark and Riot Platforms to help the campaign – in exchange for a promise of support for the industry after the victory.
