The wireless headphones that recharge with the sun

urban planner, a Swedish lifestyle brand born in 2010, has unveiled a new model of wireless over-ear headphones ideal for those who spend a lot of time away from home and don’t want to give up their favorite music just for forgetting to recharge their headphones or earphones. In fact, unlike the models already available on the market, the Urban planner Los Angeles they are distinguished by a rather unusual feature: they enjoy a“virtually” unlimited autonomy and are the first headphones in the world capable of self-recharge.

Thanks to solar cells Powerfoyle of Exeger integrated in the headband, they never stop charging when they are exposed to light – both outdoors and indoors – and through the dedicated application, they inform us about use, remaining autonomy and solar charging levels: however, the integrated battery offers up to 80 hours of playback. On the subject is Anders Andreen, CEO of Urbanista, to comment: «For us it was also an important step forward to launch our integrative mobile app of Urbanista. The app will be available concurrently with the product launch and will truly enhance LA’s innovative features by making interaction with the auto-charging aspect simple and engaging. There is support for voice assistants Siri and Google and thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity they can wirelessly connect to devices that use operating systems iOS, Android e Windows: for charging via cable, on the other hand, there is a Type-C connector. Urbanista’s Los Angeles is already available for pre-orders in black and gold – respectively Midnight Black e Sand Gold – a 199 euro: as announced by the brand, the first units will be delivered by the summer.
