CD Projekt Red launched a special trailer this Monday (19) to celebrate the 10 years of launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt . The tribute is released a decade after the original premiere on May 19, 2015.
The Witcher 3 premiered for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The story follows Geralt, a monster hunter, on his mission to find Ciri, traveling through a vast and detailed open world.
The title won Millions of Fans It also gained versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, as well as the Hearts of Stone expansions (in Portuguese, stone hearts) and Blood and Wine (blood and wine).
“It’s been ten years since players entered the role of Geralt and started the search for Ciri – experiencing numerous decisions, adventures and unforgettable stories,” said CD Projekt. “We are grateful for being part of this journey. It was thanks to you that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt became a legend.”
Currently, the Polish studio works in The Witcher IV, scheduled for release only after 2027. The new game will have Ciri as protagonist. At the same time, CD Projekt is also overseeing the remake of the first The Witcher, developed by Fool’s Theory studio.
