The World Bank will pay Ukraine an average of $ 200 million a month for the salaries of civil servants and teachers, with a total of $ 1.5 billion expected to be disbursed.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Roman Yermolitchev referred to these plans of the World Bank in an interview with the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform.
He assured that the ministry is constantly looking for alternative resources to finance the needs of the state, including the needs of education. “That is why we are already preparing, together with other institutions of power, the joint program with the World Bank” for a total assistance of $ 1.5 billion.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Save the Children are also working on a roadmap for the reconstruction of education infrastructure in Ukraine.
