The Chinese monitor manufacturer Dasung Technology has launched an interesting novelty on sale – a full-fledged monitor in a metal case and with HDMI and DisplayPort video inputs. The developer assures that this monitor will not become a big e-book – due to the proprietary Dasung Turbo technology, the response time of the Paperlike 253 (this is the name of the new product) practically matches the response time of conventional LCD panels. That is, users can even watch videos and play games – if only they are not confused by the picture presented in grayscale. The screen resolution is 3200 x 1800 pixels, the aspect ratio is 16: 9.

Among the interface connectors of the monitor, in addition to the above video inputs, there is a USB-C and a USB-A hub for three ports. there is a convertible stand and the ability to use an alternative stand with VESA mount. Dasung Paperlike 253 is offered in China on a $ 2,000 pre-order basis. Interestingly, along with the start of sales of the device, the developers urged users to consume responsibly: not to buy products that they will not use. Apparently, not everyone can clearly understand the pros and cons of such a monitor.
