The world’s first gonorrhea vaccine is a fact – in red the cases

A global first in the prevention of gonorrhea is currently acting by the National Health System of England (NHS), with the onset of the first vaccination program to combat sexually transmitted disease. As announced earlier this year, the first vaccinations start in early August, with the aim of stopping the explosive rise of outbreaks and antibiotic -resistant infection. Britain’s Ministry of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has confirmed that from today, sexual health centers across England will offer the new gonorrhea vaccine in selected population groups.
