Doogee recently announced the world’s first rugged smartphone with a laser rangefinder function. A device called Doogee S97 Pro will go on sale.

The first 300 buyers will be able to purchase the device for $ 200. The price will then increase to $ 282. Kits with different accessories will cost from $ 291 to $ 324.

Laser rangefinders are widely used in topographic surveying, in military affairs, in navigation, and in construction. These compact devices allow you to quickly and accurately determine the distance to objects of interest. In Doogee S97 Pro, the laser rangefinder works at a distance of up to 40 m.

Display Doogee S97 Pro has a diagonal of 6.39 inches and a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is built on the basis of a 12-nanometer single-chip system MediaTek 0Helio G95 with an ARM Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. Doogee uses 8GB of low power DDR4 RAM and 128GB UFS flash in this smartphone.

Doogee S97 Pro received a quad camera with a main 48-megapixel Samsung image sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a temperature sensor.

The smartphone is equipped with a huge 8500 mAh battery, and the included 33-watt charger allows you to fully charge it in 3 hours. There is support for 10-watt wireless charging. The battery lasts for 2-3 days of normal use. In standby mode, it will last 26 days.
