ZTE has officially announced that the ZTE Axon 30 Pro will be the world’s first smartphone to have three flagship image sensors in its main camera.
Typically, modern smartphones have one sensor with rich capabilities, in addition to which they install low-resolution sensors with medium or poor light sensitivity. Huawei’s flagship camera phones have two main image sensors. In the case of the ZTE Axon 30 Pro, there will be three. Presumably, they will work in conjunction with wide-angle, ultra-wide angle and telephoto lenses.
Previously, Ni Fei, president of ZTE’s smartphone division and president of Nubia Technologies, officially confirmed in a post on Weibo that a new smartphone from the company with a camera located under the display surface will soon be released. He also posted a photo of the prototype.

ZTE is preparing to launch a second model with a similar camera, while other companies including Samsung, Xiaomi and Oppo are still in the research and development stage, planning to release similar smartphones this year.
