Yesterday Google released the final version of Android OS 12, and today the company revealed the date of the full premiere of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Recall that the formal announcement of these two smartphones took place in early August, but only two weeks later Google will finally reveal all the cards and announce the cost of new products.
The official Google post on the matter says:
On October 19, we officially bring you the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, all-new Google phones. They are powered by Tensor, Google’s first custom mobile chip, and are fast, smart and secure. And they adjust to you.
Google has previously indicated that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will adapt to users, hinting at the extraordinary capabilities of the SoC Tensor AI acceleration engine and the corresponding functions implemented in Android 12. Smartphones should receive OLED screens with a frame rate of 120 Hz, Wi adapters -Fi 6E, NFC, UWB, brand new cameras with 50MP sensors (Pixel 6 will have a dual camera, Pixel 6 Pro will have a triple camera). The cost of the Pixel 6 in Europe is rumored to start at 650 euros, the Pixel 6 Pro will be more expensive – from 900 euros.
Even though a custom version of Android 12 came out yesterday, current Pixel smartphones haven’t received it yet. Android 12 is expected to be available for Pixel 3 users – Pixel 5 also on October 19.
