Most smartwatches are ISO22810 certified, as evidenced by the 5ATM mark. This means that you can swim with the watch, but diving is not advisable. Rare models are certified according to IEC 60529-2013 (IP68 marking) – such devices can withstand immersion to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. But with the Watch GT 3 Pro, Huawei has gone even further.

The teaser indicates that the novelty meets the requirements of the EN13319 standard for diving accessories. In this particular case, we are talking about the possibility of diving to a depth of 30 meters. As noted, the watch has passed about 200 tests “to achieve the water resistance necessary for divers.”

What else is known about the Watch GT 3 Pro? The watch will receive a titanium case, HarmonyOS as a software platform, and the ability to register an ECG. The maximum autonomy will be 14 days.

The official premiere of Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro will take place on April 28. On the same day, Huawei will present many more interesting things: we are waiting for the unusual folding flagship Mate Xs 2, the Band 7 fitness bracelet, Smart Screen V Pro TVs with Super Mini-LED panels. And this is certainly not a complete list of new products.
