Samsung announced the release in Russia of the world’s first soundbar with 11.1.4-channel sound Samsung 2021 HW-Q950A, which is offered at a suggested retail price of 104,990 rubles.
The device supports Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, and the maximum power is 616W (RMS). Samsung’s first 11.1.4-channel soundbar is the successor to last year’s 9.1.4-channel HW-Q950T soundbar. The new system includes a soundbar, wireless subwoofer and two rear speakers. The soundbar itself includes four center speakers and six side drivers for panoramic sound.

When watching movies at home, sounds are often reflected from interior items, as a result, users hear the soundtrack not the way the creators intended. The SpaceFit Sound function is just responsible for playing the audio track as originally conceived. With Samsung’s SpaceFit feature, the Sound HW-Q950A can automatically calibrate by calculating the size and characteristics of the room’s reverberation. This feature is available on HW-Q700A and older soundbars when used with Q70A series and older QLED TVs.
Samsung’s new HW-Q950A and HW-Q900A soundbars support Auto EQ, which analyzes the surroundings using a built-in microphone mounted directly in the subwoofer. The function does not require the use of a TV microphone, it is available for all TV models.

All of the company’s soundbars are developed at the Samsung Audio Lab in Valencia, California.
