The TikTok developers entered a new market with the intention of significantly expanding their user base. The TikTok app for Android TV is already available on Google Play, so far it has only officially appeared on the Chromecast with Google TV, but later the list of supported devices will be expanded.
After installing and running the application, you can go directly to watching the video or connect your account. Logging in is fairly straightforward as all you have to do is press the navigation button up to bring up the corresponding window and enter the code or scan the QR code with your smartphone.
Movies on the TV are still displayed in portrait mode. The right and left navigation buttons allow you to move between videos, the “More” button opens other videos.
